I have average size hands what size do you recommend also I keep cutting my knuckles on the bag will these gloves prevent this ?
Hi Tom,
Unfortunately, as you can appreciate, it is almost impossible for us to recommend the correct size without seeing you try the gloves on.
In addition, when you mention that your knuckles are being cut, this would usually suggest that you are not wearing hand wraps underneath your gloves. It is unlikely that the impact itself is causing the issue; instead, it is more likely to be the friction between the inside lining of the glove and your knuckles. Wearing hand wraps will help prevent this from happening.
The Rival gloves do have a soft and forgiving lining, which helps with comfort, but we would still strongly recommend wearing hand wraps during training.
For reference, I weigh around 70 kg, and the width of my palm is approximately 9 cm. I can comfortably wear either a Small or a Medium:
Small – A snug, secure fit.
Medium – A little more room without compromising security or protection.
Please note that the sizing information above is based on not wearing hand wraps. Wearing wraps will make the fit slightly tighter.

Please when is the large size black reval Rb50
These are Bag gloves which are specifically designed for bag and pad work only. Rival do not state a weight as these are dependant on the hand size.
If you are looking at Rival products and the code is RB, this means Rival Bag and they will have a hand size over a weight. If the Rival product code is RS, this means Rival spar and an they will have a weight instead.
Rival Bag gloves will have a harder padding that is not suitable for sparring.
